| After graduating Point Park University in Pittsburgh with a BFA degree in theatre arts, Rick Tae moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
With credits ranging from recurring on Stephen King's The Dead Zone as Dr. Tran, Smallville, Millennium, Breaker High and Dark Angel, Rick soon landed a prime Series Regular role on CHUM network/Keatley Entertainment's Godiva's, garnering him a Gemini Award nomination and two Leo Award nominations, and a win in 2006.
Leading the wave of Asian actors increasing their presence in the North American entertainment industry, Rick, speaking fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese, is eager to break down stereotypes and sees a bright future ahead for more realistic ethnic diversity. |
