After graduating Point Park University in Pittsburgh with a BFA degree in theatre, Rick Tae moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. With credits ranging from recurring on Stephen King's The Dead Zone, Intelligence, Smallville, Millennium, Breaker High and Dark Angel, Rick soon landed a prime Series Regular role on CHUM network/Keatley Entertainment's Godiva's, garnering him a Gemini Award nomination and two Leo Award nominations, and a win in 2006.

Leading the wave of Asian actors increasing their presence in the North American entertainment industry, Rick, speaking fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese, is eager to both celebrate and break down ethnic stereotypes, hoping to contribute more future diversity reflecting the world today.
